Craft Club
Tune in on your creativity with process focused learning
Through fun crafts you’ll practice your fine-motor skills that will come in handy for any future jobs you might dream of. Your patience will automatically increase when we dive into the creative space of curiosity and hand crafts. Using all of our senses we’ll be working in flow.
With a background as a textile designer, specialised in printmaking, these classes will guide you through the fundamentals of creative thinking. You will explore various techniques to generate innovative ideas, and you will learn how to choose the right material to best finish your project.
You’ll be introduced to techniques such as printmaking (mono, stencil, block, collagraph), bookbinding, weaving, origami, repeat pattern, mark making, collage and more, depending on the classes you take.
In our Craft Club we cultivate positive behavior and encouragement of each other. This will create a calm and welcoming environment perfect for crafting together.

This term we will dive into the creative space and learn about design process and creative thinking, building stronger problem solvers by learning to be curious. This means lots of experimental PLAY.
I will teach the participants design principles like composition, balance, symmetry, colour theory and more. Always inspired by and connecting with nature.
I will provide each participant with a sketchbook where we will draw, paint, print, take notes, building up colour codes and much more. The result will be a reference book beaming with creativity and new ideas. Creating a habit of using a sketchbook is beneficial for our health and will build confidence in how to observe, make and select.
All materials will be provided. Suitable for 6-12 years old.

Join me for 6 exciting after school classes in my garden studio. We will dive into this creative space and learn crafting skills through weaving and printing. We will learn about design process and creative thinking, this means lots of PLAY. We will create a handmade journal with the techniques shown in class, great for inspiration for future craft projects.
All materials will be provided. Suitable for 6-12 years old.
